I went to Barcelona with my family a few weeks ago. We stayed in Barcelona for one week. Barcelona is the capital of Catalonia. It is one of the most beautiful and exciting cities in the world. It has a huge number of attractions; one of the world's most famous streets in city centre, some stunning modernist architecture including several buildings by Gaudi (the Sagrada Familia, the Casa Milà...), Spain's most famous architect; dozens of museums including one dedicated to Picasso, another to Miró It is the second largest city in Spain. Barcelona is also recognised as a global city because of its importance in finance, commerce, media, entertainment, arts and international trade. Barcelona is today an important cultural centre and a major tourist destination and has a rich cultural heritage. We love there food, wine and people.
